City of Maricopa administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.

 

Transportation Updates2009-2010 Budget approved. After City of Maricopa staff tackled the enormous task of balancing the City’s 2010 budget, the City Council unanimously adopted an $82.8 million budget June 29, 2009, for fiscal year 2009-10, which begins July 1, through to June 30, 2010. Movies in the ParkCopa Cares cleans up July 11.The City of Maricopa and Boy Scout Troop 993 are working together to clean up properties along Taft Avenue. The project will begin at 7 a.m. on July 11. If you would like to volunteer, contact Brian Duncan, 520/316-6989.

4th of July eventGreat American Barbecue: Maricopa's Independence Day celebration will take place from 6:00-10:00 p.m., July 4, at Pacana Park. At this free event families will enjoy games, short films/cartoons, information booths, food for sale and of course a grand display of colorful fireworks.
