Polling Place Information:
Your precinct number is printed on your voter registration card. Polling locations are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on election day. Please note that precincts will be consolidated for municipal elections. Your polling place will be listed on your sample ballot which you will receive in the mail prior to election day.

Voter Registration :
A person is entitled to vote in the Election who has resided in a precinct in the boundaries of the City for 29 days preceding the Election, who is qualified to register to vote as provided in Section 16-101, Arizona Revised Statutes, as amended.

Early Voting:
To vote an early ballot, in person, you may appear at the Pinal County Recorder Office located at 31 N. Pinal St., Florence, AZ 85232 during normal business hours.

Requests for a mail-in ballot can be made by calling the Pinal County Recorder's Office at 520/866-6830 or request one online.

In order for the early ballot to be counted, it must be received by 7 p.m. on election day. Early ballots may be dropped off at any polling locations in the county or the Office of the County Recorder.


Voter Identification at the Polls:
The following are types of identification that are acceptable and that can be used when voting at the polling place on Election Day. All identification must match the voter’s name and address shown on the Pinal County Elections Signature Roster.

LIST 1: PHOTO identification with the voter’s name and address. The address must reasonably match the precinct register – ONE REQUIRED

  • Valid Arizona driver’s license
  • Valid Arizona non-operating identification license
  • Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal identification
  • Valid United States, federal, state or local government issued identification

                                             
LIST 2: NON-PHOTO identification with voter’s name and address. The address must reasonably match the precinct register – TWO REQUIRED

  • Utility bill dated within ninety (90) days of the election.  A utility bill may be for electric, gas, water, solid waste, sewer, telephone, cellular phone or cable TV
  • Bank or credit union statement dated within ninety (90) days of the election
  • Valid Arizona Vehicle Registration
  • Indian Census Card
  • Property Tax Statement of the voter’s residence
  • Tribal Enrollment Card or other form of tribal identification
  • Vehicle Insurance Card
  • Voter Registration Card or other form of tribal identification
  • Vehicle Insurance Card
  • Voter Registration Card or Recorder’s Certificate
  • Valid United States federal, state or local government issued identification
  • Any “Official Election Material” mailing bearing the voter’s name and address

 OR

LIST 3: One with photo, one without – TWO REQUIRED

  • Any valid photo identification from List 1 in which the address does not match the precinct register accompanied by one valid item from List 2
  • U.S. Passport without address and one valid item from List 2
  • U.S. Military identification without address and one valid item from List 2


Provisional Ballot
If the voter does not have acceptable identification at the polling place, a Provisional Ballot can be voted. Acceptable identification must then be presented to the City Clerk or the Pinal County Recorder by 5:00 pm the Friday after the election.
