Salsa Festival. Planning is already underway for the 2009 Maricopa Salsa Festival. Chef's from throughout Maricopa comete for top prize at this event. This is a free event that includes a salsa, guacamole and bean dip competition, live music, a beer and margarita garden, free tortilla chips, kids zone, junior salsa bar and salsa lessons for everyone. Winter Parks and Recreation Class Schedule is Available: Resgister through January 23. Looking for activities for your family. The City of Maricopa's Parks and Recreation Division is currently accepting registrations for its winter classes.
