Traffic Restrictions on SR347 for Development of the Sonoran Creek Shopping Center.
From November 3 through November 30, traffic on SR 347 between Edison Road and Hathaway Avenue will be restricted at times to one lane in each direction. Additionally, during this period, traffic traveling northbound on SR 347 will not be able to turn left onto Hathaway Avenue.
Travelers can seek an alternative route by using Garvey Avenue to Wilson Avenue from the south, or Edison Road to Wilson Avenue from the north, to bypass construction.
Additionally, left hand turns will be restricted from both Hathaway and Garvey turning north on to SR347. Local traffic, west of SR347 between UPRR tracks Edison Road, should use the signal at Edison Road and SR347 in order to proceed north-bound on SR347.
These road restrictions are part of the Sonoran Creek development, which includes a new traffic signal at the Hathaway/SR 347 intersection, extension of the median, new turn lanes and will increase traffic safety while advancing economic development within the City Of Maricopa.

Pacana Park closed for annual overseeding.
Pacana Park will be temporarily closed for overseeding until early November. The Community Services Department is committed to a healthy park for resident use and this includes attention to maintenance needs. We ask that residents cooperate with us as we make sure we properly care for our park and stay out of all areas fenced off and signed for overseeding. If you have any questions, please contact the Community Services department at 520/316-6963.
