Maricopa Police Department

On July 2, 2007, the Maricopa Police Department began routine patrol duties within the city of Maricopa. Starting with day shift operations and employing 21 Officers and Professional Staff, the Department responded to or answered a variety of calls. Today, the department is a 24/7 operation, with 61 full time employees of which 55 are sworn peace officers. The department averages approximately 16,000 calls for service per year.
