The City of Maricopa Parks, Recreation and Library Advisory Committee is a seven (7) member committee that serves as an advisory group to the City of Maricopa Community Services Department. The group is responsible for aiding in the development of quality programs, identifying community recreational needs, special event planning, and assisting in general park design. Recommendations are made to staff and Council for each action. Committee members are appointed by the City Council.
The Parks, Recreation and Libraries Advisory Committee meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

Department Initiative:
The City Clerk's office implemented the Granicus system. This program eliminates the need for the creation of paper council packets and puts the information at the fingertips of the public while saving thousands of dollars in paper and staff time. The system also provides the public the ability to view city council meetings via the web.
