NOTICE: MAX Ended Service on Sept. 30 With the loss of state transportation funding, the City has opted to discontinue the MaricopaXPRESS (MAX) commuter service that runs between Maricopa, Phoenix and Tempe. The last day for the MAX service was on Friday, Sept. 30. The City has continued its efforts to assist riders by partnering with Valley Metro’s Vanpool.
