![]() Primary elections are held the second Tuesday in March in even-numbered years. General elections are held the third Tuesday in May in even-numbered years. If a candidate obtains an adequate number of votes for election in the primary, then he/she is not required to participate in the general election. The City Council is responsible for setting public policy, approving the City's annual budget, entering agreements, providing executive leadership, making planning and development decisions, and adopting new codes and ordinances. Elected and appointed officials may be reached through City Hall or by the e-mail address listed in the biographies for each Council Member.
