The Office of the City Clerk is dedicated to serving the City Council, staff and citizens of the community in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner; accurately record and preserve the history of the City of Maricopa; ensure the preservation, management and maintenance of all City records from creation to disposition, and diligently conduct the City's elections pursuant to state statute.

20140501-PublicMtgThe City of Maricopa is currently accepting applications to fill seven (7) vacancies for the Non-Profit Funding Evaluation Committee.

The Non-Profit Funding Evaluation Committee is a seven member committee whose function is to be part of the City’s internal grant evaluation process. Members will be trained on the objective scoring criteria, will hear presentations by the applicants for the Maricopa Non Profit Funding Program and provide recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on funding awards. Members shall not serve on a board or work for an organization submitting an application to the program. If a member of the Citizen Evaluation committee accepts a board appointment or becomes employed or works in a volunteer capacity by an organization submitting an application for the program, they must resign and a new member will be appointed. The committee will be required to hold a minimum of two meetings annually.

The following Solid Waste Fee Schedule, if approved by Mayor and Council, will apply to all commercial and industrial businesses providing solid waste services within the City of Maricopa:


2014 RegisterToVoteByOct6On Tuesday, November 4, 2014 City of Maricopa voters will have the opportunity to vote in the General Election for two (2) four-year term City Councilmember seats, and one (1) two-year term City Councilmember seat. In addition to voting for City Councilmember, residents will have the opportunity to vote on Proposition 405 in which qualified electors will be asked to vote on one question regarding whether to change the term of office of the Mayor from two (2) to four (4) years. Residents must be registered to vote on or before Monday, October 6, 2014, to be eligible to vote in the General Election.
