The Office of the City Clerk is dedicated to serving the City Council, staff and citizens of the community in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner; accurately record and preserve the history of the City of Maricopa; ensure the preservation, management and maintenance of all City records from creation to disposition, and diligently conduct the City's elections pursuant to state statute.

20140328-LawProposition 405 will appear on the November 4th, 2014 General Election ballot. Proposition 405 is being referred to the voters by the Maricopa City Council and, if approved, it will change the term for the office of mayor from 2 years to 4 years. The arguments will be included inside an informational pamphlet, which will be mailed to each household containing a registered voter.

2014 RegisterToVoteOn Tuesday, August 26, 2014 City of Maricopa voters will have the opportunity to vote in the Primary Election for the office of Mayor, 3 four-year term City Councilmember seats, and 1 two-year term City Councilmember seat. Residents must be registered to vote on or before Monday, July 28, 2014, to be eligible to vote in the Primary Election.

Participation in the August Primary Election is important as any candidates receiving a majority of all the votes cast at the Primary Election will be declared elected without running at the General Election.

20140328-LawIn accordance with A.R.S. Section 9-499.15, public notice is hereby given that the City of Maricopa City Council will consider approving new fees no sooner than 60 days after the posting of this notice. The following new fees relate to proposed facility rental fees at Copper Sky Multigenerational/Aquatic Center for non-profit organizations and are to be considered as an action item by the City Council at the September 16, 2014, Regular City Council Meeting.
