3.1 Report from City Manager, Kevin Evans. Mr Evans will speak to the committee regarding the restructuring of city departments. Discussion.

3.2 Fire Department Presentation. The City of Maricopa will provide a PowerPoint presentation. Discussion.

4.0 Unfinished/Continuing Business

Scooters. The committee shall discuss the status of the motorized scooters Ordinance.   Discussion and Recommendation to City Staff.

Parking Ordinance.  The committee shall discuss the status of parking Ordinance. Discussion and Recommendation to City Staff.

Radar Cameras. The committee shall discuss the status of Red Light and Radar Cameras in Marciopa. Disscussion and Recommendation to City Staff and/or City Council.

Old Issues.  The committee shall discuss old issues which have not been resolved by staff or council. Discussion.

5.0 New and Miscellaneous Business

Reports from Agencies.  The committee shall hear reports from PCSO, Maricopa Police Department, Maricopa Fire Department, Southwest Ambulance, Animal Control and PC Health Department and discuss resulting issues as they pertain to general public safety in Maricopa.  Discussion.

New Issues.  The committee shall discuss new public safety issues of which city staff should be aware.  Discussion.

Next Meeting. April 21, 2008. Discussion.

6.0 Call to the Public

The procedures to follow if you address the Committee are: Committee requests that you express your ideas in five minutes or less and refrain from any personal attacks or derogatory statements about any City employee, a fellow citizen, or anyone else, whether in the audience or not. The Chairman will limit discussion whenever he deems such an action appropriate to the proper conduct of the meeting.

Note: This meeting is open to the public. All interested persons are welcome to attend. Supporting documents and staff reports, which were furnished to the Commission with this Agenda, are available for review.

This notice was posted at City Hall, Maricopa High School, Maricopa Fire Department, and the City of Maricopa Post Office by Friday, March 14 by 5:30 p.m.
