The City of Maricopa Community Services Department is committed to providing services and amenities to enhance the quality of life of its residents.

CopperSky RecComplex Logo JPGWith less than 60 days before the Copper Sky Recreation Complex opens off of SR 347 and Bowlin Road, community excitement is building. The complex is comprised of the Copper Sky Multigenerational/Aquatic Center and Regional Park. It features extensive recreational activity options including; a full fitness center, two indoor basketball courts, two pools, eight multi-purpose fields, a five-acre fishing lake, dog park, skate plaza and so much more!

The Copper Sky Recreation Complex will open mid-March with a Grand Opening kick-off for the entire community. At that time, the Regional Park will operate during regular hours and members can start using the Multigenerational Center. The Aquatic Facility will open on Memorial Day for the start of the regular swim season.

Membership pre-sales for the Copper Sky Multigenerational Center will start on Monday, February 3 and continue through February 27 at City Hall. A special gift will be offered to the first 100 annual memberships sold. Anyone interested in signing up early should visit the Community Services Desk at City Hall Monday thru Thursday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Membership sales will continue at the Grand Opening of the Multigenerational Center in mid-March.
