Copper Sky Recreation Complex

The Copper Sky Recreation Complex is the sporting, fitness, recreation and leisure destination in Maricopa. Comprised of the Copper Sky Multigenerational Center and the Copper Sky Regional Park, this expansive recreational development offers state-of-the-art equipment, grand green spaces and fantastic programs designed to enhance Maricopa residents' quality of life.

On March 15, 2014 the Copper Sky Recreation Complex will officially open to the public. A grand opening celebration to showcase the new facilities will take place on March 15 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This event includes a dedication of the new complex at 10 a.m. followed by refreshments, tours and other activities throughout the Copper Sky Multigenerational Center and Regional Park. Everyone is invited to attend!

Location:
The complex is located on the south end of Maricopa off of AZ 347 John Wayne Parkway and West Martin Luther King Blvd on the east side of the highway.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED FEES FOR RECREATION ACTIVITIES AND RENTAL FEES

In accordance with A.R.S. Section 9-499.15, public notice is hereby given that the City of Maricopa City Council will consider approving new fees no sooner than 60 days after the posting of this notice. The following new fees relate to proposed rental fees and charges for services at recreation facilities to be added to the Community Services Department Fee Schedule and are to be considered as an action item by the City Council at the February 3, 2015 Regular City Council Meeting.
