Mayor and Council.

The City of Maricopa operates under the Council-Manager form of government. The City Council consists of the Mayor and six Councilmembers, all who are elected at large. The Mayor serves a two-year term, and the Councilmembers serve staggered four-year terms, commencing on the first business day in June following the election.
