The City of Maricopa Community Services Department is committed to providing services and amenities to enhance the quality of life of its residents.


Maricopa's Stagecoach Days is held annually in October to commemorate and celebrate the founding of our community and its rich cultural history, to promote cooperation and volunteerism, generate community spirit and recreation and enhance the economic welfare of the community.

Join thousands of your fellow community members to celebrate Maricopa's history. Enjoy fun activites, vendor village, food court, kids corral, stagecoach rides, beer garden, entertainment and more at the annual celebration at the park.

Salsa Festival (March)

It's the Spiciest Event of the Year ... Maricopa's Salsa Festival The 10th Annual Salsa Festival will be held on Saturday, March 28, from 3-7 p.m. at Copper Sky Regional Park in Maricopa, AZ.

Fishing Derby (March)

REEL THEM IN AT THE ANNUAL FISHING DERBY! Maricopa's Fishing Derby event has become an annual tradition for parents and children in our community.

Movies In The Park (May-June)

The City is pleased to present the "Movies in the Park" series each May and June. Grab a blanket, lawn chair and join us at Pacana Park under the stars for an evening of quality entertainment with our community. Concessions begin at 7:00 p.m. and the movie begins at dusk.

Great American BBQ (July)
Maricopa's annual Independence Day celebration takes place on July 4. At this free event, families will enjoy games, water inflatables, contests, food vendors and of course a grand display of colorful fireworks. Entertainment is provided throughout the event and at 9 p.m., the presentation will begin followed by the fireworks display.

Holiday Homes & Biz on Parade (December)

Residents of the City of Maricopa are invited to participate in this annual house decorating contest. Participants are encouraged to be original and creative with decorating the exterior of their home with seasonal characters, scenes, and props.
