All complete subdivision applications or complete submittals for MPD or PAD within the city limits of Maricopa that are currently under review with the city on the effective date of the ordinance shall be reviewed under city subdivisions regulations existing at the time of application except that the “City of Maricopa Subdivision Ordinance – November 20, 2006” will apply if the first parcels or Phase I of a multiphase PAD within the submitted PAD are not submitted to the city within two (2) years from the effective date of this ordinance, or if during plat review any approvals lapse or processing deadline expire, unless said deadlines are extended by the City Council. Any subdivision not associated with a PAD that is not submitted to the city or with a lapsed approval after the effective date will fall under the new “City of Maricopa Subdivision Ordinance – November 30, 2006.”
