Salary & Benefits.
The annual salary range for a Maricopa Police Officer is $41,000 to $61,000. Police Officer Recruits will earn $41,000 annually upon appointment. Upon successful completion of the academy, the salary for Police Officer Recruit will increase to $48,000 annually.
The annual salary range for Lateral Transfer Police Officers is $48,000 to $61,000 annually*. Lateral Officers are compensated for their years of qualified service** according to the following salary schedule:
- Officer 1 YR = $50,000
- Officer 2 YRS =$52,000
- Officer 3 YRS =$54,000
- Officer 4 YRS =$56,000
- Officer 5 YRS =$58,000
- Officer 6 YRS =$59,000
- Officer 7 YRS =$60,000
- Officer 8+ YRS =$61,000
*The current $61,000 range maximum includes any Incentive Pay adjustment.
