PUBLIC NOTICE - ZONING CODE TEXT AMENDMENT

Case # TXT26-01

The City of Maricopa’s Planning & Zoning Division is seeking to amend the City’s Zoning Code. These proposed changes are required to be heard at a scheduled Planning & Zoning Commission meeting, and a City Council Meeting at which these changes may be approved or denied by the Maricopa City Council.

The proposed text amendment seeks to amend multiple sections of the City Code (Section 18). Miscellaneous amendments are necessary in order to keep the documents up to date with current development trends and address any deficiencies in the codes. 

We are interested in hearing from members of the community and welcome any and all comments and/or concerns. The text and changes can be viewed in the attachments here.                   

The city will be holding the following public meetings for the proposed update. The public meetings are shown below.
