What are City of Maricopa Events all about?
Events are the heartbeat of Maricopa, bringing our community together, celebrating our city’s identity, and drawing visitors from near and far. To keep the city’s event lineup dynamic and exciting, we have planned our calendar to include three distinct tiers of events.
Community Events
Community events are designed for Maricopa’s residents, offering family-friendly experiences that create cherished memories and strengthen local bonds. These events are easily accessible, featuring activities that everyone can enjoy.
Examples: Concerts in the Park, Dive-In Movies, and the Pacana Park Pumpkin Walk.
Signature Events
Signature events are Maricopa’s premier celebrations, reflecting the city’s unique character and spirit. These larger events are well-known to locals and serve as a point of pride for the community.
Examples: Merry Copa, Copa Cultural Night Market, and the Great American Fourth Celebration.
Event Tourism
Event tourism focuses on creating experiences Maricopa residents are proud to share with friends and family, drawing visitors from across the region and beyond while supporting local businesses.
Example: The Wild West Music Fest.
Maricopa’s events ensure there’s something for everyone—whether you’re looking for a fun family outing, a festive celebration, or a can’t-miss concert. Each event enriches our city’s vibrancy and contributes to its growth.
