Intergovernmental Affairs Director Dale Wiebusch
The Intergovernmental Affairs Director monitors state and federal legislation, analyzes legislative proposals, and provides recommendations to City of Maricopa's elected officials and staff. This position reports directly to the City Council.
Mr. Wiebusch joined the City in the fall of 2016, and previously worked as a Legislative Associate at the League of Arizona Cities and Towns since 2006. He has spent much of his career lobbying members of the state legislature on issues such as municipal government, revenue sharing, local control and criminal justice. He has extensive experience analyzing, formulating positions, and developing strategies on over 400 bills each legislative session.
Dale has developed a strong reputation for being persuasive, and for his ability to establish relationships with legislators from all backgrounds.
