The Operations Division consists of the below details.

Patrol

The Maricopa Police Department provides law enforcement services to the citizens of the City of Maricopa 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days out year. The mission of the police department is to be a leader in providing proactive progressive law enforcement services to a culturally rich community. Currently, Maricopa Police Department has six squads and two beats.

Investigations

The Investigations Unit is responsible for following up on criminal cases, preparing criminal cases for court and investigating serious crime scenes and arresting outstanding suspects. Detectives receive specialized training in interviewing techniques, identifying evidence and crime scene processing. Currently, Maricopa Police Department has one Detective Sergeant and six detectives.

K9K-9 Unit

Ike and Ofc. Curry along with Murphy and Ofc. Gomez  have trained hard together and are currently patrolling the streets of Maricopa assisting officers with a variety of patrol tasks. Both Ike and Murphy have been trained in patrol apprehension and cross trained for narcotic detection.

Sex Offenders

Honor Guard

The Maricopa Police Department Honor Guard prides itself on celebrating the life and sacrifices made by the fallen officer, not the achievements of its own members. Our motto is what we live by and what we expect our members to abide by. All of the members have a strong commitment to this country, state, city, department and fellow officers to vow to always remember.
