Modern Vision of Maricopa in 2022

Maricopa City Council adopted a new a Mission Statement along with a set of strategic objectives. The previous Mission Statement was created when the city was still very much in a conceptual planning stage. Just a few short years later, Maricopa has move beyond that stage and into a new phase of rapid economic growth and decisive building. It is our hope the new statement and objectives will capture the areas of focus City Planners are utilizing to chart a course for this exciting new chapter in Maricopa’s history.

   It is a fundamental priority to make investments that set the city apart in creating a sense of community that attracts new residents and businesses.

   Maricopa ranks among the safest cities in Arizona and it is our goal to keep it that way with continual assessment of our emergency response resources and needs.

3. Promote Economic Vitality and a Sustainable Community
   We foster a business-friendly environment by streamlining the building process and creating the infrastructure and circle-of-life housing inventory to support the workforce who will staff those businesses for years to come.

4. Be a Premier City
   We recruit top talent who will provide memorable customer service experiences. Those that dare to dream and challenge the status quo are invited to come build a city with us!
