How To

Library Cards

Library cards are free to any resident of Pinal County 4 years of age and older and free to all City of Maricopa employees. Proof of residency in Pinal County is required (a P.O. Box is not acceptable). For individuals between the ages of 4 and 17, a parent or legal guardian must be present when the card is issued. All Maricopa Library and Cultural Center cards expire one year from the issue date and renewed every two years after that when done in person with appropriate identification and proof of residency.

A $25 fee is charged per year for a library account if you live outside of Pinal County.

Items can be checked out without your library card so long as you have a photo ID that matches your patron account. If your library card is lost, a replacement library card is available for $1.00.

I Forgot My Password

Visit any Pinal County Library with your photo ID to reset your Password/PIN. The library staff cannot change a Password/PIN over the phone.

Paying Fines

Fines can be paid through check by mail or in person at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center. Online payments are not currently available.
