Make a Reservation

Multigenerational Center

Room rentals are scheduled based on availability. Priority is given to all City of Maricopa classes, programs, and events.

Availability

Copper Sky Hours

  • Monday through Friday 5 a.m. - 10 p.m.
  • Saturday 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Sunday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Facilities are available for rent during Copper Sky business hours only. Rooms are reserved on a first-come, first-reserved basis. All rentals are a 2-hour minimum. Due to facility programming, reservations are not accepted more than three months in advance. We encourage you to submit a few possible dates and times for your reservation in the event your first choice is not available.

Rates

Room rates vary based on the room selected, hours reserved and type of event. Rates are listed on our 2023 City of Maricopa Facility Fees(PDF, 217KB). Please build in time for set up and tear down. Reservations must be paid in full at time of booking.

Food, Alcohol and Outside Vendors

  • You may bring outside food in as part of your reservation, but it must be fully prepared prior to arriving on site.
  • Food prep and storage space is not available.
  • All vendors and service providers must provide insurance and endorsement adding the City of Maricopa as additional insured at least 14 days prior to event. Request will not be approved until insurance is confirmed.
  • Alcohol is prohibited for any reservation within the facility.

Submit a Reservation Request

Reservations are reviewed Tuesday through Friday. You will be contacted via email or phone regarding your request 24-48 hours of your submission. Any request received Friday through Sunday will be answered on Tuesday.

General Facility Policies

  • Organizers can request a specific number of tables and chairs during their application process and we will approve the request based on the availability and quantity on hand.
  • Room checks will be conducted before and after each reservation.
  • An active credit card will be required to be on file in case of damages or loss of property. Applicant is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of and not to damage, destroy or deface (including, without limitation, affixing items to walls, floors or ceilings of any room, and taping, nailing or stapling items to any surface) any property in the facilities which include damage done by those in attendance.

Refund and Cancellation Policies

  • Refund Policy with Written Notice – 14 days or more with written notice = Full refund.
  • 14 days to midnight the night before reservation with written notice = Room deposit refund.
  • No Call No Show = No refund.

Ramada Reservation Request

  • Ramada reservations can be done online Copper Sky Online Reservations.
  • Online account will need to be created
  • All requests must be made with a minimum of 24 hr. notice. Staff approval required.
  • Request must be approved within 48hrs of the reservation.

Ramada Payment and Cancellation Policies

  • Reservations must be paid in full at time of booking.
  • $100 Refundable cleaning deposit due with rental.

Copper Sky Field & Court Facility Descriptions

Booking Fields

  • Reservations are taken between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Tuesday - Friday. Credit card required.
  • For weekdays, reservations must be made no later than 5:30 p.m. the previous day.
  • For weekends and Monday holidays, reservations must be made no later than 5:30 p.m. the previous Thursday.

Deposits

Non-Refundable - 20% of total costs including field space, lights, and field prep due at initial booking. The remaining balance will be due 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the start of the event. No credits will be issued for cancellations. Once a request is accepted and organizer is notified, the organizer has 72 hours to pay the required deposits unless balance is paid in full at the time of the reservation.

Refundable - $250 trash deposit due for all tournaments. Organizer can choose to provide staff or volunteers to pick up trash or pay $250 for City staff to take care of the trash for you. *Liners provided by City staff.

Payments

  • Tournaments: 20% at initial booking. Remaining balance due two weeks (14 days) prior to tournament.
  • League Games & Practices: The 25th of the month prior to scheduled practice (5-day grace period).
  • Administrative fee: Changes to completed permits will result in a $10 administrative fee per request per permit.
  • Less than 14 days’: Request received with less than 14 days’ notice will increase $10/hr. per field for Non-Residents, and $3/hr. per field for Residents. All field prep requests will have an additional $20 per layout billed.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation 14 days or more prior to event - 100% refund
  • Cancellation less than 14 days prior to event - 0% refund (no date changes or credits will be issued)
  • Cancellation 13 days up to day before event - deposit only.
  • It is the responsibility of the renter of the facilities to determine accurately the number of fields and/or courts and the hours of usage 14 days in advance; this includes any field preparation requests. If fields and/or courts are not used or games end early, no refunds or credits will be given.
  • Field rental deposits are non - refundable.
  • Security Deposits are refundable after the conclusion of the event and are contingent upon the facility condition.

Inclement Weather

During inclement weather, the city’s Sports staff will assess the playability of all fields to determine if use will occur. The Sports supervisor or designated representative has the authority to close any/all fields within the city parks. Groups are expected to contact the Community Services Department at 520-316-4620 to determine field and court availability and promptly forward the information to its participants.

If inclement weather occurs after 2 p.m., all users are expected to use good judgment to determine if fields are playable. Users will be held responsible for any damages to the fields. The fields may not be used, and activities must be cancelled when any of the following conditions exists:

  • Water standing on the infields of ball fields or goal mouths/midfield of multipurpose fields
  • Where grass is sparse or field is worn badly and ground is saturated
  • Turf can be displaced or dislodged from the ground
  • Mud cakes or clings to shoes
  • Steady rain is falling
  • Dirt (infield) areas are muddy
  • Wet courts with standing water

Field users are responsible for any and all damage or excessive use to city premises, equipment, and property. If after an activity additional maintenance is required (in excess of normal services/time), the applicant will be charged accordingly.

  • Vehicles on City Property
    • As defined in City Code 18-7-1(PDF, 77KB) vehicles may not be stored overnight. Vehicles are not to be driven on athletic fields and courts. Special permission may be granted to access equipment and supplies. Access requests should be made at least 15 days in advance of the rental date and require approval from the Community Services designee.
    • It is unlawful to drive any vehicle over any garden, lawn, sidewalk, bench, wall or any portion of any public park.
  • Insurance Requirement
    • All outside vendors, service providers, and regular field users, must provide a Certificate of Insurance with endorsement form to the City of Maricopa. Commercial general liability insurance should name “The City of Maricopa, its officers, employees, and agents” as additional insured.
