Multigenerational Center Rules
Please scan your key tag each time you visit the Facility. Your key tag is your own; allowing someone else to check in as you may result in immediate termination of your membership. Replacement key tags may be purchased at the Service Desk for $5.00. Please be courteous to staff and other members at all times. Disrespecting others, use of profanity, harassment and any other behavior considered inappropriate may result in consequences such as: being asked to leave the facility, suspension of your membership, and/or termination of your membership.
Members must follow all directions from staff and posted signage. Failure to do so may result in being asked to leave the Facility or suspension of membership.
Appropriate attire is required at all times. Shirts (sweatshirts, t-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, tank tops & workout bras) are acceptable; Bottoms (pants, shorts, sweatpants, workout bottoms) are acceptable. Clothing must not contain profanity or offensive imagery. Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times on the Basketball Court and on the Fitness Floor.
While working out, be courteous to other members. Carefully re-rack all weights, dumbbells, barbells, etc. so they are ready for the next member. Allow other members to share equipment while you are resting or between sets. Please refrain from “holding” equipment until you are ready to use it, and please refrain from organizing large group training that would limit other member’s access to equipment. There are only a certain number of weights and machines for everyone to use, and your consideration is appreciated.
Please refrain from dropping or slamming weights or equipment on the Fitness Floor. This is a danger to both you and other members, and may damage the equipment. Failure to exhibit exercise caution will not be tolerated and will be addressed by staff immediately.
Professional Fitness Instruction (e.g. Personal Training, Group Training, Coaching, Swim Lessons, etc.) is currently only authorized from City of Maricopa - Copper Sky Personal Trainers & Instructors. Solicitation, sale, or peddling of goods or services is prohibited according to City Policy 12.20.010.
No food of any kind is allowed on the Basketball Courts or the Fitness Floor. Only water is allowed on the Basketball Courts. Any other drinks on the Fitness Floor must be in a closed container.
Lockers are provided throughout the Facility for use during hours of operation. Locks that are left on lockers will be cut off at the end of the day, and the contents will be placed in Lost & Found. Any Lost & Found items not picked up are donated to charity every other week. The City of Maricopa and Copper Sky are not responsible for your lost or stolen property, nor your personal belongings. It is your responsibility to protect your belongings.
We strive to keep this Facility neat and clean and need your help to do so. Please throw away any trash in the provided receptacles.
