Welcome to the MET (Maricopa Express Transit)
Our curbside transportation service provides safe, convenient rides, helping residents travel easily to appointments, shopping, community events, and other essential destinations.
MET Fixed Route hours are 8am – 4pm. The last loop of the route begins at 3:00pm
Please be advised, Maricopa Express Transit will charge the regular fee for no shows and cancellations.

MET Local Circulator
Operates Monday - Friday 8 am - 4pm
- Circulating bus within the City with no reservations required
- Arrive 5 mins. before and after the scheduled pick up time. Bus may be delayed due to unforeseen traffic events

- Riders must be 8 years old or older to use this service
- This service is equipped with a bike rack for bicycles
- If a reasonable modification to MET’s policies or procedures is necessary because of a disability, please contact us for assistance.
- If a person requires information about MET in alternative accessible formats due to a disability, please contact us for assistance.
- MET acknowledges that certain disabilities may result in the involuntary breach of our rider code of conduct, and accordingly, each alleged violation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Microtransit
Operates: Monday - Friday from 8 am - 4 pm
- This service operates anywhere within city limits (some exceptions may apply) and offers curbside pick up
- Reservations can be made as early as 6-days in advance and 30 minute reservations are required
- Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to pick up
- No shows are documented and may result in loss of riding privileges
- Riders must be 14 years or older to use this service
Reservations and additional information
- To make a reservation for Dial-a-Ride download the new MET app from the Apple or Google App Stores.
- For assistance via Arizona Relay Service (AZRS), a public service provided by the State of Arizona and administered by the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ACDHH) visit azrelay.org.
- All vehicles are wheelchair accessible and operated in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act
- Service animals are allowed to ride the MET.

- Local Dial-a-Ride: $1.00 one-way trip

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Policy Statement
The City of Maricopa (Maricopa) has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program in accordance with regulations of the United States Department of Transportation (US DOT), 49 CFR Part 26. Maricopa has received Federal financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Transportation, and as a condition of receipt of funding, has signed an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 26.
It is Maricopa's policy to ensure that DBEs as defined in 49 CFR Part 26 have an equal opportunity to receive and participate in US DOT-assisted contracts. Maricopa's objectives for its DBE program are to:

Ensure nondiscrimination in the award and administration of US DOT-assisted contracts in Maricopa’s and its Subrecipients’ construction, procurement, professional service highway, and transit financial assistance programs;
It is also Maricopa's policy to facilitate and encourage participation of Small Business Concerns (SBCs), in US DOT-assisted contracts, as a component of its DBE program. Maricopa encourages contractors to take reasonable steps to eliminate obstacles to SBCs' participation and to utilize SBCs in performing contracts.
Maricopa will take all necessary and reasonable steps under 49 CFR Part 26 and the DBE Program Plan to implement the DBE Program within its applicable departments and with its subrecipients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and DBEs in a manner that shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability in the award and performance of US DOT-assisted contracts or in the administration of its DBE program or the requirements 49 CFR part 26.
