Today Arizona State Governor Doug Ducey’s Office released additional information further defining essential services and recreational activities.

Per the statement, effective Saturday, April 4 at 5 p.m., “amenities at public parks that do not allow for recommended physical distancing or proper hygiene,” will cease operations. In Maricopa, this will include basketball courts along with the already closed playgrounds, fitness court and public restrooms. Copper Sky and Pacana Parks remain open.
