She is currently serving the last year of her 3rd term on the Maricopa Unified School District Governing Board, where she served as President from 2018 to 2020, showcasing exemplary leadership and dedication to education. She has been honored as a Women Achievers of Arizona Unsung Hero by the AZ Capitol Times in 2019 for her outstanding contributions to the community. She also received the Alliance Award from the Industrial Commission of Arizona in 2019 for her commitment to improving workplace environments and was acknowledged with the Outstanding Service Award by the AZ Cotton Growers Association in 2017 for her exceptional service to the agricultural industry. In 2016 she
received the Industry Appreciation Award from the AZ Nursery for her contributions to the nursery industry.
AnnaMarie is a 5th Generation Arizonan. She moved to Maricopa in 2005 and has raised her four children here: Robert (17), Jake (15), Averie (12) and Juliette (8). In her spare time she enjoys cooking, running and supporting her kids in their extra curricular activities. She has volunteered in many community organizations over the years including Church of Celebration, Be Awesome Youth Coalition and Pima Butte Elementary PTO.
