Weather conditions can change quickly in Maricopa, particularly during monsoon season.

Residents should monitor weather forecasts and take steps to prepare for heavy rainfall, localized flooding and other weather-related impacts.

Sand, sandbags, and shovel are available for residents who need them.

Residents in low-lying or flood-prone areas are encouraged to prepare ahead of storms and take advantage of these materials.

Road Closures and Impacts

There are currently no weather-related road closures to report within the City of Maricopa.

Residents should never drive through flooded roadways. Water may be deeper or moving faster than it appears.
