Bob Marsh

Bob Marsh and his wife Cynthia moved to Maricopa in 2010 and since then he has served on the city’s Board of Adjustment and Planning & Zoning Commission, and then on the Pinal County Board of Adjustments, Variances, and Appeals. He has also served for several years on the Desert Cedars HOA Board of Directors.

An Arizona resident for more than 26 years, living in Fountain Hills and Tempe, Bob has explored much of the state by Jeep and on foot, with several hikes to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

Before coming to Maricopa, Bob retired from Microsoft in Redmond, WA, where he worked to build the worldwide community of Microsoft’s channel partners. Before that Bob worked in software product management and development for Digital Communications Associates in GA, and for Honeywell, General Electric, and ITT Courier in AZ.

In addition to his Electrical Engineering & Computer Science degree from MIT, Bob has a graduate-level certificate in Advanced Business Administration from ASU.

Bob and Cynthia have a family rule that they must wake up on every birthday in a place they’ve never been before. This has led them to some unique travel experiences over the years.
