The City of Maricopa is turning community feedback into action. Following a community survey that showed strong demand for more after-school and out-of-school opportunities, the Parks and Recreation Department has issued Request for Proposal (26-1-RFP-PR) to significantly expand programming for teens and pre-teens.
The City is seeking a qualified organization to design and deliver programs that support positive youth development, build social connections, and create meaningful experiences for Maricopa’s young residents. The goal is to provide consistent, accessible opportunities where teens can connect, grow, and stay engaged beyond the classroom.
“This request for proposals reflects our ongoing investment in the future of our community by expanding and enhancing services tailored specifically to our youth,” said Parks and Recreation Director Rocky Brown. “It will help us identify innovative partners who can deliver impactful, engaging services.”
Organizations with experience in youth programming, recreation management, positive youth development, and community engagement are encouraged to submit proposals. Strong proposals will demonstrate:
Relevant experience and success with similar programs
Creative, high-quality program design
Operational capacity and staffing expertise
Ability to effectively engage and retain teen participants
