City of Maricopa Welcomes New Human Resources Director

The City of Maricopa is pleased to announce the appointment of Tara Raymore as its new Human Resources Director, bringing more than two decades of government leadership experience to our community.

In this role, Raymore will oversee the City’s human resources operations, supporting recruitment, employee development, organizational culture, and strategic workforce planning. Her experience and leadership will play a key role in ensuring the City continues to attract, develop, and retain a high-performing workforce dedicated to serving the residents of Maricopa.

“I am honored and excited to serve the community that I call home,” Raymore said. “With more than 20 years of government leadership experience, an MBA in Human Resources Management and dual HR certifications, I have the expertise to effectively support City operations. I’m committed to fostering a high performing team while delivering exceptional service and looking forward to a bright future with the City of Maricopa.”

City leadership expressed confidence in her ability to strengthen internal operations while supporting the City’s continued growth.

“Strong leadership in human resources is essential to delivering excellent service to our residents,” said City Manager Benjamin Bitter. “We are excited to welcome someone with her experience, professionalism, and commitment to this community.”
