One Hour. Big Community Impact.

Residents are invited to take part in this Saturday’s “Keep Maricopa Beautiful” community clean-up effort aimed at helping keep Maricopa clean, welcoming, and beautiful for everyone.
Volunteers will meet at the Maricopa Community Center, located at 41614 W. Smith-Enke Road, Suite 100, at 8 a.m. The clean-up event will last approximately one hour, making it an easy opportunity for residents, families, students, and community groups to give back and make a visible impact.
“Keep Maricopa Beautiful” is a City initiative designed to encourage residents to volunteer in the community and take pride in the place they call home. Organized clean-up events take place on the fifth Saturday of months that include one, creating regular opportunities throughout the year for residents to get involved.
The program is also a great opportunity for students in need of community service hours. Event organizers will be available to sign off on volunteer hours for participants attending the clean-up.
For those unable to attend Saturday’s organized effort, community clean-up kits are also available for pick-up at the Community Center, Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents are encouraged to use the kits to clean up their own neighborhoods or other areas throughout the community on their own time.
Residents interested in participating are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, bring water, and help make a positive difference in the community.
