The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center held their first blood drive of the year. In a partnership with Vitalant,35 lifesaving donors stepped up to donate, resulting in 33 procedures for the community and reaching 157% of the MLCC's blood drive goal.

Last year, blood drives hosted at the MLCC collected over 80 donations which can contribute to helping over 240 local patients.

There are more blood drives scheduled throughout the year. To learn more and to register for an appointment for the next one, check out the MLCC'sFacebook page.
