Imagine this: you discover your bike has been stolen from your front yard, or there’s an abandoned vehicle on your street. It’s not an emergency, but it’s still important to report. Now, instead of waiting for an officer to come by you can file a report right from your phone or computer.

That’s the convenience the Maricopa Police Department is bringing to residents with the launch of its new Online Reporting System for non-emergency incidents.

This system, which is now live, is part of the city’s investment in smarter, faster ways to serve the community. It allows residents to easily report non-urgent issues like theft, fraud, nuisance animals, and more—anytime, anywhere. The goal is simple: to make reporting more accessible while freeing up officers to respond to emergencies and urgent calls.

"As our city grows, so must our approach to public safety. This online reporting system helps us stay ahead by embracing technology to make our services more efficient and responsive,” shares Maricopa Police Chief Mark Goodman.
