Overnight Construction Planned at Smith Enke and Desert Greens

Construction is scheduled to begin the week of October 5 at the intersection of Smith Enke Road and Desert Greens Drive as crews install traffic signal poles.

Work is expected to continue through the end of October, with construction taking place overnight from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers should expect lane closures in the work area, but the intersection will remain open and there will be no full road closure.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution, follow posted signage and allow extra time when traveling through the area during construction.
