The City of Maricopa invites you to join us for the grand opening of the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center on Saturday, March 27. Besides housing an extensive media collection, the 27,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility will also offer indoor and outdoor meeting spaces and a number of excellent programs and recreation opportunities for children, teens, adults and seniors.

The grand opening festivities kick off at 9 a.m. and include scheduled tours, programs, outdoor activities and the Friends of the Library Semi-Annual Book Sale.

The library will be open for regular business hours and services upon the 1 p.m. conclusion of the event.

The Maricopa Public Library and Cultural Center Grand Opening complies with CDC-recommended guidelines for large public events. Masks that cover the nose and mouth are required for all attendees, staff and vendors. Please maintain a physical distance of at least six feet. Event entry will be regulated to accommodate appropriate social distancing measures. Hand sanitizer and disposable masks will be available onsite. Physical markings will be displayed to assist individuals with maintaining at least six feet distance in lines.
