Last week, the members of Maricopa's Youth Council were invited to a seminar on new homeownership conducted by guest speaker Monica Bobadilla. a real estate agent for West USA Real Estate as well as a home builder and contractor, Ms. Stacy. They presented to the Youth Council about the steps new homeowners must take when looking for a new home or wanting to build a new home. They also provided a background of there career and the different positions that fall within their career choice.

Maricopa is seeing a steady increase in new home permits being issued, setting records every month as more and more people are excited to join our community. Learning the aspects of purchasing and owning a new home isn't traditionally taught in schools so this was an exciting opportunity for the Youth Council to participate in.
