Youth Council Neon Glow Orientation Night

The City of Maricopa Youth Council is kicking off a new year of leadership, service and community involvement with its Neon Glow Orientation Night on Wednesday, August 26, in the City Hall Council Chambers. This special orientation will welcome Youth Council members and introduce them to the opportunities, responsibilities and expectations that come with serving on the council.

The Youth Council empowers local youth to develop leadership skills, become more engaged in their community and serve as a link between Maricopa’s youth and City government. Members have opportunities to participate in community events, volunteer, learn how local government works and make their voices heard on issues that matter to young people.

Come ready to connect, learn and kick off the year with a little glow! The Neon Glow Orientation Night will set the stage for an exciting year of leadership and making a difference in Maricopa.
