Saturday’s quarterly ‘Keep Maricopa Beautiful’ community cleanup broke participation records with nearly60 residentsdonating an hour of their weekend to pick up litter in the Heritage District. In just 40 minutes, they collected enough trash to fill a large truck. Volunteers included MUSD 20 faculty, the Maricopa High School Rams football team, Boy Scouts and community members.
Last week, the City also introduced the ‘Keep Maricopa Beautiful’ business partnership program and already have 15 participating businesses. If your business or organization would like to get involved, please email kmb@maricopa-az.gov.
