City of Maricopa Honors High School Graduating Employees
Published on May 20, 2025
Before they walked across the graduation stage, they were already contributing to the success of our city. Whether assisting residents at City Hall, shelving books and supporting programs at the library, or helping keep things running smoothly at Copper Sky, these high school seniors have played meaningful roles across multiple city departments. Balancing school and work isn’t easy, but they’ve done it with dedication, maturity, and a whole lot of heart.
"In a city as young and ambitious as Maricopa, it's only fitting that we celebrate young leaders who are already helping us build something great. Their journey is just beginning, and we’re lucky to be part of it,” shares Maricopa Mayor Nancy Smith.
“To our graduates: Your hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed. You’ve already made an impact here, and we can’t wait to see how far you’ll go."
Among the graduates are lifeguards, recreation aides, and part-time assistants who have contributed to the City of Maricopa’s mission while simultaneously working toward their diplomas.
