Maricopa Express Transit (MET) unveiled a new logo and updated transit plan in a live video this morning. Service will be expanding from 12 stops within the city to 18 stops with two buses running simultaneously, making bus waits shorter and more efficient. New MET transit bus stops will be added in additional areas throughout the city including Tortosa, Maricopa Meadows, Cobblestone Medical, and City Hall amongst others with service resuming in Ak-Chin.

Made possible through the 5311 ADOT Rural Transit Grant, this new service will utilize three Dial-a-Ride minivans and three Citywide circular buses dressed in the new design. Passengers wishing to utilize the Dial-A-Ride service may call 1-833-MET-RIDE to make a reservation. Reservations can be made as early as 14 days in advance.
