Maricopa Youth Council Assists in Reorganizing Family Advocacy Center

A diverse group of people wearing masks and matching gray shirts pose cheerfully, flashing peace signs and thumbs up, in front of flowering bushes and a stucco building.

Members of our Youth Council spent their Veteran's Day cleaning and sorting items inside the storage area at the Family Advocacy Center (FAC). The FAC receives many donation of cloths, food, and toys but with limited resources available, items can begin to pile up and become disorganized rather quickly. Teens spent several hours inside of the storage unit organizing items, storing them into totes, and stacking them into clean piles inside freeing up more space for additional donations in the future.
