PUBLIC NOTICE – Non-Residential Design Guidelines

Maricopa planning staff is in the process of drafting the City’s “Non-residential Design Guidelines.” These design principles and guidelines are intended to support the goals and objectives of the Maricopa General Plan and supplement the regulations of the Maricopa Zoning Ordinance. Additionally, these guidelines are intended to clarify expectations and set clear objectives regarding design excellence within the City and assist City staff in evaluating current projects.
We are interested in hearing from members of the community and welcome any and all comments and/or concerns. A current draft of the proposed guidelines can be viewed in their entirety in the attachment below.
The city will be holding the following public meetings for the proposed update. The public meetings are scheduled below.
