The community came out last Saturday to celebrate the MLCC's first birthday in spectacular fashion. Guests were treated to a number of festive activities and treats including face painting and birthday cake shaped cookies. Craft tables were available for creative decorative animals and supporters of the library were on hand to showcase their organizations and give the community more information on the resources available to them. As a special treat, Ofc. Gomez and Ofc. Karma were in attendance to meet and greet the community. The event ended with a show of gratitude as everyone singing happy birthday to the building.
