The Maricopa Youth Council Volunteered at a Toy Drive Last Weekend

Published on December 28, 2020

A group of people wearing masks stands outdoors on a sunny day, holding a trash bag. They appear to be participating in a community cleanup.

Members of Maricopa's Youth Council assisted the F.O.R. Maricopa Food Bank with their annual toy drive and turkey giveaway last Saturday. They helped gather and organize supplies, food, and toys for needy families in our community. One family received some extra holiday cheer as their 10=year old son was gifted a bike. The child had been wanting to learn how to ride a bike and now had been given this opportunity thanks to the generosity of our community, the support of the F.O.R. Maricopa Food Bank, and the assistance from Maricopa's Youth Council.

Volunteers wearing masks and gloves pack food bags in a well-stocked pantry. Shelves with various supplies are visible, suggesting a busy, organized effort.
