PUBLIC NOTICE: City of Maricopa Building Codes Implementation

On January 20, 2026, the City of Maricopa Council Approved the Adoption of the 2024, International Codes including the 2023 NEC, and A117.1-2017 Accessible Codes. The new codes will go into effect, on February 20, 2026.

Plans submitted for an initial review beginning February 20, 2026, must comply with the newly adopted Codes and associated amendments.
